You’ll Die Laughing at the Fall Production "Dearly Departed" is a distinctly American dramedy about life, death, family, and love. When the "mean and surly" Bud Turpin dies, his family must come together for his funeral, and overcome their differences in the process. Come see the play and fall in love with this wacky family, then leave the theater happy that you are not related to them.
"Dearly
Departed"
was written by David Bottrell and Jessie Jones, performed by The
Sleepy Hollow Players, and directed by Peter Kennedy. November 21 at 7:30 November 22 at 2:00 and 7:30 The Sleepy Hollow High School Auditorium
. (Posted 11/13/08) Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Boosters Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow The Sleepy Hollow Performing Arts Boosters is a volunteer run organization that benefits our children’s participation in the MS/HS performing arts programs. The Performing Arts Boosters is made up of volunteer parents, faculty and student representatives. The Boosters sponsor such activities as Breakfasts, car washes, the Variety Show and manage the concession stand at school plays and concerts. The funds raised at these activities help support the performing arts program and enable the children to defray costs of music trips and the year end awards dinner. The amount of performing arts students increases every year, mandating increased funds to support these students. Your tax-deductible membership at any level will ensure that every student has the opportunity to participate in all the performing arts events. Parents are encouraged to attend our monthly meetings held at SHHS. We appreciate all the expertise, new ideas and energy that any parent can add to the discussions to ensure the smooth running of each event. We need your help so we can help our children. We will be sending out the dates of these meetings at the beginning of the school year. In addition to your financial support the Boosters needs your help by participating/chaperoning at the various activities. We hope you will be able to offer assistance.
